Lambazites, known as “Tazoult” now, and “Lambaz” during the colonial era of Algeria, is a Roman military city located north-east of Algeria in the municipality of Tazoult, 10 km east of the city of Batna, and 27 km west of “Timgad” on the Batna-Khenchela road.
